2006 SPECIAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
 The Academy of Chinese Performance would like to extend their
congratulations to Miss Gladys Ka Wai Liu, Mr. Zenon Anderson, and President and Artistic
Director of the academy, Mr. David Z. Chen, for being chosen as awardees for the
2005-2006 Apprenticeship Program offered by the Alliance for California Traditional Arts .
Gladys and Zenon are selected as apprentices to relearn the reputable Kunqu dance
piece Dang Ma from Master David Chen. This classical Kunqu dance piece will be
one of the featured programs in ACPA 2006 Annual Performance. ACPA
is thrilled and honored that our academy's President and students are
being recognized. On behalf of the entire ACPA community, we would like to thank the
Alliance for California Traditional Arts, the James Irvine Foundation, and the
San Francisco Foundation for their continued advocacy in preserving traditional
arts here in the United States. It is a wonderful program that will have a
profound influence to our younger generation in their appreciation of
traditiona arts.
